Neon Drive Club offers customer support correspondence free of charge.
This service includes finding listed items, translating and interpreting material, quotes, advice pertaining to wheel sizes, parts fitment, small talk, or any other support.

As Neon Drive Club cannot indefinitely offer this service for free, we operate on the premise that you have a genuine interest to purchase something using our service.
After a certain amount of correspondence, and if our staff do not detect a desire to purchase using our service, our staff are authorized to honorably decline any future correspondence from you, effectively ending communication.

This does not apply to after purchase assistance related to an item you have acquired through Neon Drive Club. In that event our staff will work with you to resolve any and all issues until a resolution is found.
However, we cannot assist with enquiries relating to items you have purchased through other agents or distributors.

Any advice given on style, preference, experience, or any other subjective matter is always to be treated as our staff's personal opinion and never as instruction from Neon Drive Club.
By placing an order with us, you accept the terms of service as outlined below;
Contact and Item Acquisition;​

Neon Drive Club operates as an intermediary between you and various manufacturers, distributors, and stores located within Japan.

In order for Neon Drive Club to provide you with accurate information or quotations, we require that all enquiries be as specific as they need to be. If possible we always request direct links to items that you wish to purchase, as well as part numbers or item numbers. If a part or item is available from a manufacturer with different options or features we request you to specifically list the options or features you would like.

The staff at Neon Drive Club will help to select, identify or locate correct parts or items, and if our staff notice that you may be requesting an incompatible part we will always warn you.

However, if you provide us with an incorrect part number, item number, or link to an incorrect item, Neon Drive Club or its staff will not be liable for compensation of any damages or losses incurred due to purchasing aforementioned incorrect part or item.

Likewise, Neon Drive Club and its staff cannot be held liable if a requested part is not suitable for your car.
This can sometimes occur when requesting an OEM part for a right hand drive vehicle as sold in Japan, for your left hand drive vehicle as sold in America, for example.

When enquiring about items on a public trading post like Yahoo Auctions it is important to know that circumstances exist where item listings aren't quite what they seem. It is possible that you may enquire with us about any of the following, or equally shady deals;

A single wheel, despite 4 wheels being shown in photos; ECU data, despite the photos being of an ECU with loom; Low cost items with extremely high domestic shipping charges; Empty packaging of otherwise valuable items; Etc.

Our staff will read any listing you may be enquiring about, and try to identify whether you may be asking to purchase something that is not what it seems, however our staff can occasionally fail to identify misinformation or misrepresentations in used auction listings, and in such instances, if you proceed with the purchase, Neon Drive Club or its staff will not be liable for compensation of any damages or losses incurred by you.

Thus we recommend you do your own due diligence prior to enquiring with us, and appropriately translate ads or listings so you can understand what is being offered

Quotes and Placing an Order;​

All quotes offered to you will include all costs involved, but please be aware that the quote for the shipping cost will always be an estimation! We can not know the cost to ship an item unless we have it packaged, measured and weighed. If you receive a shipping quote from elsewhere regarding a second hand item that the company is not in possession of, or that needs to be repacked, please understand it is an estimate.

Neon Drive Club has handled a lot of items and our staff generally are able to provide accurate estimates, however please understand that this will always be subject to change at the final bill.

Neon Drive Club does not make money on shipping costs.

To initiate an order or purchase Neon Drive Club will first require full payment for the item up front, not inclusive of commission, domestic shipping, international shipping, or any other fees.

Please refrain from sending us more than the amount for the item only, as the final bill can change.

Cancellations and Refunds;​

It is important to understand that in most instances we cannot cancel an order after it has been placed.

If you are purchasing a brand new item from a manufacturer it is impossible to cancel an order once the production order has been received.

If you are purchasing from a distributor it is impossible to cancel an order once it has been picked and packaged.

If you are purchasing a second hand item from an online trading post such as Yahoo Auctions we cannot withdraw bids or cancel an order after we have won.

Online trading posts utilize a feedback system the same as eBay, and that feedback is taken very seriously with online sellers in Japan. It is not uncommon for listings to explicitly state the the seller will not sell to accounts without outstanding ratings, thus we cannot jeopardize the rating of our account if you decide to change your mind, or a mistake has been made.

Due to Neon Drive Club's position as an intermediary we cannot offer refunds on any items should you change your mind, or don't like your purchase.

Please also note that if you have been outbid on a second hand item we cannot issue a refund until the auction has been finalized. This is because the seller has the ability to cancel a bid. It is not impossible for the second or third highest bidder to win an auction, because the seller has decided he or she does not wish to sell to the owners of the top bidding accounts. This could be due to bad feedback or other reasons.

If you Receive Damaged or Faulty Goods;​

If a brand new item you had ordered arrives faulty or damaged we will work with the seller to organize a replacement, depending on the situation. Some items will have a Warranty period, some items will not. However all items that need to be returned to Japan must be returned at your own expense.

If a second hand item you had ordered arrives faulty or not as described, it will depend on the circumstances and the sellers willingness, whether we can have the item returned. Please understand the general precautions about buying items online still apply to items bought online in Japan.

If any item you purchase arrives to you damaged in transit we can make a claim to the courier company requesting compensation. In such circumstances it is imperative that you retain the packaging that the item came in and provide us with pictures of the packaging where you suspect it may have been damaged.

Some second hand item listings explicitely state things like 'please judge the condition from the photos, as we do not accept claims or returns'. If the item we purchase for you has something like this in the listing please understand the seller will have a low tolerance for claims or complaints.

Combine Requests and Storage Fees;​

Requests to combine items for shipping should be made at the time of placing an order. If no specific request is made our staff will combine items as they deem necessary to save on shipping costs for all items listed under your name.

Our staff also takes into account item costs, and will refrain from packing multiple high value items within the same package to mitigate losses should the package be damaged or lost during transit.

Any requests to repack an item will typically incur a cost of 1,000JPY to cover staff time and packaging materials.

Once items have been packaged and you have been invoiced we expect payment for shipping to be made urgently as we are limited on storage space and cannot store your items for lengthy periods of time.

Items which remain in our warehouse after some time will incur a weekly storage fee of 1200JPY.

Shipping information cannot be changed once an order has been shipped! Please ensure you provide us with accurate shipping details.

Refrain from Contacting our Suppliers Directly;​

Neon Drive Club will act as the sole intermediary between you and the seller. We URGE that you leave all feedback, questions, and complaints to us, and refrain from contacting our distributors or manufacturers directly.

If you do engage with these companies directly it could ruin the relationship we have with the company. In these instances Neon Drive Club reserves the right to cease interaction with you, effectively disabling our support in the matter.
