Sending funds is an important part of the process when buying internationally.
In order to purchase an item for you, we first require the payment for the item. Once it is time to ship the item we then need payment for the final bill which includes shipping and commission.

Many people are happy to pay step by step through PayPal, even though they offer poor exchange rates and charge international transaction fees of roughly 4.5%.

In order to accommodate for those who would rather spend less, we have a credit system in place allowing customers to transfer funds to us ahead of time to use as credit. We use your credit to place bids at your request.

This makes it easy to raise your bid in the event you are bidding on a popular item, get outbid, and then wish to bid more.

We can simply raise your bid if you have sufficient credit, rather than billing you and waiting to receive funds through PayPal before we can raise your bid. Your credit is refundable at any time you like.

The service we recommend for sending funds is called Wise. It is a well established international transfer solution that offers the lowest exchange rates, and the lowest fees that we have found available anywhere.

There is a one time identity verification procedure after making your account which can take some time depending on which country you are in. But once it’s done sending funds is super simple.

We do NOT recommend sending funds through Wise if you;

A. Are bidding on an auction item that will end soon, and;

B. Have not previously sent us funds through Wise.

This is because the first time you use Wise to transfer funds to a new bank account, the transfer can take up to 2 days or more.

Subsequent payments have been known to come through to us within 5 minutes, making it a more than viable one time payment solution, much like PayPal, however this is not their advertised transfer speed and it is possible that 5 minute transfer times might not always be the case.

If you have received an invoice from us and wish to transfer via Wise to pay for the invoice, please do so following the above process. DO NOT proceed to pay the invoice through PayPal.
